we had this wonderful seat from western india plywood, kannur...and this my first go at welding out one of charles eames leg structure. the leg structure was made in mild steel pipes and rods...finsihed with scotch brite pads and spray coated in duco water clear
yusuf made this chair that allows one to sit in a 'meditative' posture. i often sit on it for brain waves to happen while ideating. it is very comfortable with its short backrest supporting my lower back.
three pieces lock in place by dovetailed finger joint and the seat plank cantilevers. these three planks can easily be slided out and carried away or stacked away!
method: score bottle with any glass cutter, tie cotton thread over the score, douse the thread with spirit, burn it till flame goes out and immerse it immediately in water. use zippo fuel and ice cold water for better results!
